The desk fits in the corner space I'd set aside for it perfectly and blends in with the existing wooden items in the room.
Be careful when constructing from the flat pack that you knock all of the dowels in completely as they will penetrate the veneer and protrude through the top rated of the desk if you do not.
Luckily I'd intended to fix coasters to the desktop in any case so that my young children wouldn't mark the desk and would consistently have a coaster there when the drink requirements to be put down and homework begins - and the ones I created the mistake with just occurred to be in places I'd selected for coasters.
Very good solid unit - fine value for revenue - and will last for my children's schooling I hope
Delivered quite speedily, well packed, too heavey for a single older man to carry upstairs just before unpacking. Simple and easy to assemble apart from drawer runners as my eyesight missed the marks showing which way to fit them. All in all a quite excellent item for the value.
